The 16th Annual Giving tree Project
Can you Believe it?
It’s the time of year again when our Giving Tree program begins. We are very excited to be able to help many Rhode Islanders enjoy their holiday season… and it all starts with you. Trees will be going up in the restaurants by November 18th. As you may know the cards that adorn the trees contain the names of children, senior citizens and adults along with the gifts they would like to receive.
As the gifts are brought to the restaurants, we present each person with a coupon for a complimentary slice of Gregg’s award winning chocolate layer cake as a small thank you for their part in helping to meet the needs of so many. We will gladly accept your generous gifts without the traditional wrapping if you so choose. This will help us in the sorting phase of the project and will save a significant amount of paper.
During December we are honored to be joined by many volunteers that ensure success of the Giving Tree Program. This program would not be possible without their help. We deeply appreciate the willingness of so many who step forward and help us with this endeavor.
Monetary donations of any size are also very welcome and 100% of your donation will be used to meet the needs of the less fortunate in our community. Gregg’s Giving Tree Inc. is a registered 501C(3) Charitable Organization.
